I went into the theater without any desires, no connection, no feeling of the story itself and that permitted me to appreciate what was going on before me. I would suggest others approach the film like this also so they can go in visually impaired and watch everything unfurl.
Tobey Maguire played the chess virtuoso, Bobby Fischer, and I think he held his own particular exceptionally well. The film solely centered around him the whole time, and it takes an incredible on-screen character to keep you excited for about two hours.
The scenery of the motion picture was the Cold War, and you can never turn out badly with that period! The division of America and the Soviet Union is for all intents and purposes an adage now yet it’s still exceptionally fascinating.
